NIKE’S FORWARD PROJECT RUNWAY WINNER.
Nike held an internal competition open to all of design where we had 12 weeks to complete a full look using at least 75% of Nike’s Forward fabric.
From the athlete brief to concepting, designing, fitting, prototyping, and sewing, it was important each piece had mobility, function, and aesthetic clarity. The pickleball inspired look features a jacket with articulated sleeves, shoulder gussets, and a bonded center front zipper for minimal disruption and a back pocket the athlete can easily slide their racket into. The skirt has a futuristic yet tradtional feel that transforms into a functional carrying bag. Construction decisions prioritized performance while showcasing material-forward innovation.
The look earned Nike’s prestigious award “Most Nike”. The look debuted at Paris Fashion Week, and also across athlete and influencer platforms. Resulting in recognition of innovation, collaboration, and commitment to pushing performance design forward.
